Great stay at the Eldorado Hotel There is nothing to dislike about the property. The hotel is fabulous. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The beds are very comfortable. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It is convenient to the interstate with easy on easy off access. They even have free valet service which is wonderful especially when it is raining. The rates are unbeatable during the week.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Walking around outside the hotel we were literally almost dodging bullets from two guys yelling at each other on the sidewalk. Homeless and drunks lining the sidewalks everywhere. I won’t be going back to Reno unless it’s a big event like hot August nights.

Cons:we had continous problem with A/C not working, and took them hours to get around to looking into it only to have it break down again in the middle of the night. Hotel is aging with poor maintenance and we stayed in their best room.
Pros:The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were both friendly and patient with a first time casino gambler like myself. The restaurants were also pretty good. Overall, it's a very well run hotel
Cons:HBO would have been nice. Other than that, I really can't complain. For other novice gamblers, I strongly suggest eating at one of the restaurants before visiting the casino.
Pros:The room was adequate for what I needed. Loved the breakfast at p.m. at Millies. Cinnamon french toast was awesome and my omelet was huge!
Cons:Although the room is smoke-free, getting through the casino and front desk is very much smoke filled. So just a heads up if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke!

Cons:Rooms are small and seriously need to be updated. Our A/C was on steroids, couldn't get it to calm down, so we had to bundle up in the room, which is better than being too hot, but still 95 degrees outside and really too cold inside. Food in coffee shop was pretty bad (and we generally are quite happy with generic hotel coffee shops).

Eldorado Resort Casino is a hotel and casino located in Downtown Reno, Nevada. It anchors a network of connected hotel-casinos in the downtown Reno core that included Circus Circus Reno and Silver Legacy Reno and are owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment.[1]
History[edit]
Plans for the Eldorado were announced in July by a group of six investors, including members of Reno's prominent Carano family.[2] The hotel opened on May 24, with guest rooms, two restaurants, and a casino with slot machines, 9 table games, and a keno game.[3] Also incorporated into the property were a ballroom accommodating up to people, an underground parking garage, and executive suites.[4]
In , the success of the Eldorado Resort Casino prompted what would be the first of many expansions and improvements. Guestrooms were brought to a total of with a further expansion completed in September adding 20, square feet of gaming area and four new restaurants. By , the Eldorado had grown to [5] hotel rooms and boasted its own on-site bakery, pasta and gelato shop and butcher shop. In , the Eldorado added a 10 story parking garage for added convenience to guests.
The completion of another transformation for the Eldorado happened in Coinciding with the construction of Silver Legacy Reno, a 50/50 joint venture between Eldorado Resorts and MGM Resorts International, the Eldorado added a crossover to the new downtown property connected by the first ever micro-brewery in a casino, The Brew Brothers. The Spa Tower was created, adding 10 floors of luxury accommodations; a 10, square foot convention center was opened as well as a seat Broadway-style showroom. A coffee roasting company was added to the list of on-site services and the casino now totaled 78, square feet with more than 1, slot machines, 55 table games, a keno lounge, race and sportsbook and poker room.[6]
In , Eldorado Resorts announced that it expects to invest more than $50 million in enhancements. Eldorado’s master plan for the three connected properties, which span eight city blocks in downtown Reno, also includes renovation of more than 4, guest rooms. The properties’ upgrade announcement comes a week after the company’s agreement to acquire Isle of Capri Casinos.

Fun stay, La Strada was great, the staff was very friendly - you may see some sketchy characters outside on the street, but their are some nice restaurants and shops to visit around this area otherwise.

Great stay at the Eldorado Hotel There is nothing to dislike about the property. The hotel is fabulous. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The beds are very comfortable. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It is convenient to the interstate with easy on easy off access. They even have free valet service which is wonderful especially when it is raining. The rates are unbeatable during the week.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Walking around outside the hotel we were literally almost dodging bullets from two guys yelling at each other on the sidewalk. Homeless and drunks lining the sidewalks everywhere. I won’t be going back to Reno unless it’s a big event like hot August nights.

Cons:we had continous problem with A/C not working, and took them hours to get around to looking into it only to have it break down again in the middle of the night. Hotel is aging with poor maintenance and we stayed in their best room.
Pros:The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were both friendly and patient with a first time casino gambler like myself. The restaurants were also pretty good. Overall, it's a very well run hotel
Cons:HBO would have been nice. Other than that, I really can't complain. For other novice gamblers, I strongly suggest eating at one of the restaurants before visiting the casino.

Cons:Rooms are small and seriously need to be updated. Our A/C was on steroids, couldn't get it to calm down, so we had to bundle up in the room, which is better than being too hot, but still 95 degrees outside and really too cold inside. Food in coffee shop was pretty bad (and we generally are quite happy with generic hotel coffee shops).
Pros:Quiet and peaceful! All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Eldorado Resort Casino is a hotel and casino located in Downtown Reno, Nevada. It anchors a network of connected hotel-casinos in the downtown Reno core that included Circus Circus Reno and Silver Legacy Reno and are owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment.[1]
History[edit]
Plans for the Eldorado were announced in July by a group of six investors, including members of Reno's prominent Carano family.[2] The hotel opened on May 24, with guest rooms, two restaurants, and a casino with slot machines, 9 table games, and a keno game.[3] Also incorporated into the property were a ballroom accommodating up to people, an underground parking garage, and executive suites.[4]
In , the success of the Eldorado Resort Casino prompted what would be the first of many expansions and improvements. Guestrooms were brought to a total of with a further expansion completed in September adding 20, square feet of gaming area and four new restaurants. By , the Eldorado had grown to [5] hotel rooms and boasted its own on-site bakery, pasta and gelato shop and butcher shop. In , the Eldorado added a 10 story parking garage for added convenience to guests.
The completion of another transformation for the Eldorado happened in Coinciding with the construction of Silver Legacy Reno, a 50/50 joint venture between Eldorado Resorts and MGM Resorts International, the Eldorado added a crossover to the new downtown property connected by the first ever micro-brewery in a casino, The Brew Brothers. The Spa Tower was created, adding 10 floors of luxury accommodations; a 10, square foot convention center was opened as well as a seat Broadway-style showroom. A coffee roasting company was added to the list of on-site services and the casino now totaled 78, square feet with more than 1, slot machines, 55 table games, a keno lounge, race and sportsbook and poker room.[6]
In , Eldorado Resorts announced that it expects to invest more than $50 million in enhancements. Eldorado’s master plan for the three connected properties, which span eight city blocks in downtown Reno, also includes renovation of more than 4, guest rooms. The properties’ upgrade announcement comes a week after the company’s agreement to acquire Isle of Capri Casinos.

The casino houses an on-site microbrewery, The Brew Brothers, which also operates as a music venue and night club. A second Brew Brothers is planned for Scioto Downs Racino in Columbus, Ohio.[8]
