Hoops fans piled into the official account's mentions and roundly condemned the venture.

Источник: [https://torrent-igruha.org/3551-portal.html] The Scottish football club Celtic F.C. has faced strong criticism after posting a tweet to promote the online casino operator Mr Green yesterday afternoon.
Using the official Tweeter account of the club for such promotion has come as a great surprise, as the Celtic F.C. has been associated with the working class and charity, something which gambling does not complement at all. Supporters of the club were surprised to find out that it has chosen to work in collaboration with Mr Green to advertise the roll-out of the Arizona Online Casinos Celtic F.C. slot game” and the operator’s free tickets giveaway to celebrate the launch of the game.
The football club got scolded for its choice to promote a gambling product released by the online gambling operator Mr Green, especially by using hashtags, exclamation marks and cartoons Celtic Football Club Slots Machine persuade its fans that gambling is fun.
Of course, the fact that the club has Celtic Football Club Slots Machine the promotion of the new slot game does not mean that all Celtic fans are to state making bets or their betting would end up becoming gambling addiction. However, the last few years have seen some major concerns related to gambling and its possible negative effects on gamblers, especially when it comes to underage or vulnerable raging bull casino no deposit bonus F.C, Celtic Football Club Slots Machine. Made “a Step Too Far” by Encouraging Gambling, Twitter Users Say
The relationship between football and gambling has become a topic of recent discussions, especially when Basic Instinct Slots Machine comes to the moral side of the story.
For some time now, gambling has been considered not only a normal everyday activity but also a widely-accepted part of football events experience. The number of gambling operators which have become major sponsors of football clubs in England, Scotland and Wales, has risen in the past few years – a trend which has shifted other companies sponsoring football clubs until recently and has seen the reign of gambling in professional football.
To date, Celtic’s shirt is sponsored by a gambling operator, Celtic Football Club Slots Machine, and the Celtic Park pitch is filled with advertising materials of gambling firms. Apart from that, the entire league and cup championships in which Celtic F.C. currently competes are being sponsored by gambling companies. In addition, gambling adverts are present during both pre and post-match coverage of live sports events.
As campaigners have explained, gambling is constantly being normalised as part of modern football, with more football fans being involved in betting activities every single day. However, making bets on your favourite football club is one thing, Celtic Football Club Slots Machine, while slot machines make things different, Celtic Football Club Slots Machine. After being earmarked as one of the most dangerous forms of gambling, which could lead to very serious addiction, slot machines could hardly be called an appropriate match of any football club, Celtic Football Club Slots Machine. Also, considering the fact that they are normally very easily found on any high street, including in working-class areas, the promotion of such a form of gambling on Celtic F.C.’s official Twitter account seriously tarnishes the reputation of the club which has once been associated exactly with the working class of the region.
Once again, has Celtic F.C. “lost the moral compass on this one”, as written by a user called @67strand, and should gambling have a place in football?

Celtic this afternoon posted a tweet promoting online casino Mr Green, and have justifiably received a barrage of criticism for doing so.

This same club today tweeted "@mrgreencasino are giving away 10 pairs of tickets to #CELKIL to celebrate the launch of their #CelticFC slot game!". The accompanying image shows an online slot machine game featuring cartoon Celtic tops and the words "PLAY THE OFFICIAL CELTIC FC SLOT EXCLUSIVE TO MR GREEN". Below that? This is decidedly not a good look.
Everything about this is completely misjudged. Cartoons, hashtags and unnecessary exclamation marks to remind #Celtic fans Ancient Idols Slots Machine gambling is fun you guys! Even Hoopy the Huddle Hound enjoys a flutter, probably.
Of course, there are plenty who are perfectly able to put on a few bets without it degenerating into a problem. For many, though, Celtic Football Club Slots Machine, gambling is a destructive element that has brought them to their knees financially and, in many cases, caused or exacerbated mental health issues.
As @67strand puts it, Celtic have "lost the moral compass on this one". The (at best) naivety or (at worst) audacity of Celtic to target their fans in this way and then follow it up that same Celtic Football Club Slots Machine with a tweet reading "#CelticFC's founding father, Brother Walfrid, passed away #OnThisDay in 1915. Gambling is now seen as an accepted part of the matchday experience. Celtic Football Club Slots Machine shirt is sponsored by a gambling firm. The normalisation of gambling is an accepted part of the modern game, and much of Scottish football would be in dire financial trouble without the cash that betting firms have pumped into the game. At the same time, is the amount Mr Green are paying the country's richest club to advertise their slots worth the almost universal backlash from supporters?
Slot machines in particular are a bad fit for Celtic. Frequently referred to as the "crack cocaine" of gambling, they often lead to crippling addiction. On any high street in any working class area, slot machines are easy to find. In more Celtic Football Club Slots Machine areas, you can walk for 15 minutes without coming anywhere near a bookies. Seen in that context, it's easy to understand why gambling firms are so often accused of preying on the working class and exploiting the desperation of those who need cash the most.
It's hard to see how embracing slots and aligning the club's name and logo with them squares with Celtic's working class ethos. Added to all this is the fact that these are online slots. @seamusmcdublin: Boke-inducing. Gambling addiction is as harmful as any chemical dependency but the club seems to not care at all. Do fans not contribute enough money already?
@barryplough7: Gambling firm on the front of shirt. Another gambling partnership with online firm. Gambling kiosks in the stadium with another company and now Celtic-themed slot games. These things destroy people’s lives, Celtic Football Club Slots Machine, and Celtic are taking their pieces of silver. So f*cking depressing.
@Seanoward4: No thanks. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come. I'm all for the club making money, but maybe they shouldn't settle for stuff like this and the people in charge of the commercial side should work a bit harder instead.
@mjmxx: No to this.
We're long past the point where we can expect football clubs to completely reject money from gambling, or alcohol for that matter. What clubs, particularly those like Celtic who are not in urgent need of a cash injection, can do is display just a little bit of sensitivity and common sense.

@TheNewtonSammy: Whether accurate or not, plenty to suggest gambling has had a direct impact on club and first team.Plenty studies highlighting the poisonous effects in society. Yet here we are, handing out the financial heroin to our support.Just one try.You might like it. Shameful.
@mjmxx: No to this.
We're long past the point where we can expect football clubs to completely reject money from gambling, or alcohol for that matter. What clubs, particularly those like Celtic who are not in urgent need of a cash injection, can do is display just a little bit of sensitivity and common sense.
Celtic, 1887: "A football club will be formed for the maintenance of dinner tables for the children and unemployed"
Celtic, 2019: "Play the official Celtic FC slot.10 pairs of Celtic v Kilmarnock tickets to win!"
