Nearly all international private jets arrive at Velana International Airport, on its own island near the capital, Malé. Private aviation handling is available through the airport's FBO facilities.
The Maldives is made up of over a thousand islands — most resorts are reached by seaplane (for closer atolls, typically 20 minutes to an hour) or speedboat (for nearby islands), rather than a second flight on a fixed-wing aircraft. Some remote southern atolls are reached via a short domestic flight to a regional airport, followed by boat transfer.
Many nationalities, including Indian passport holders, are eligible for a free 30-day visa on arrival to the Maldives — but visa policy can change and varies by nationality. Always verify current visa requirements for your specific passport directly with Maldives Immigration or your travel documentation provider before departure.
Overwater villas at popular resorts book out well ahead of peak season (December–April). Coordinate your resort booking alongside your charter planning rather than after.
Seaplanes in the Maldives generally operate during daylight hours only. If your private jet arrives late in the day, an overnight stay near Malé before your resort transfer may be necessary — our concierge team factors this into your itinerary.
